By Holly Scholl, 2026 President, Women’s Health Leadership TRUST
As we turn the page into a new year, I’m honored to serve as the 2026 President of the Women’s Health Leadership Trust and excited to serve this extraordinary community of women leaders during an inflection point in our health care industry — nationally and most especially, locally.
We are immeasurably grateful for the steady guidance and forward momentum built by our outgoing President, Joy King, the Board and Associate Board members, including outgoing Board members Diane Nanstad, Jennifer Olson, Kim Perry, Lindsay Dittberner, Rajni Shah and Nneka Sederstrom, and outgoing Associate Board members Jessica Hendrickson, Karen Larson, Patricia Milligan, Tiffaney Styles, Jenna Lange, Caitlin Campbell, Corrie Ellefson, Lisa Ries, Aimee Johnson and Irina Williams. They have given their time, expertise and heart to move us forward, and it’s made a real difference.
I’m excited to partner with our Board and Associate Board and welcome new Board members Becky Pauly, Jamie Margolis, Jenni Lohse, Kathy Tune, Katie Penson, Melissa Kloetstra, Quyen Ngo, Jolene Summer Bolster and Tenbit Emiru, and incoming Associate Board members Meredyth Lacombe, Andrea Anschel, Sherri Liebl, Tammie Haveman, Bethaney Kaye, Andrea Gramse and Ally Reilly, along with Mackenzie Bies, Jenny Sobiech, Brianna “Bri” Springer, Ellie Hallen, Courtney Chupurdy and Stephanie Fox who began their terms in July 2025.
I’m also looking forward to partnering with the Board of Directors, including the 2027 President-elect, Ann Guyott, to develop a 3-5 year strategic plan to ensure the organization’s longer-term direction, continuity and sustainability.
From change comes opportunity
There’s no question that this is a challenging moment for health care. Costs, staffing pressures, shifting regulations and rapid innovation are changing the landscape in real time. It can all feel so daunting.
And yet, this is also a time of real opportunity. In seasons of change, we’re pushed to rethink what’s possible — to innovate with passion, to evolve with courage and to build new partnerships that take us faster and farther than we could go alone. When an industry is transforming, communities like ours become even more vital, and our collective expertise becomes an even greater advantage.
That’s why my vision this year is intentionally focused on strengthening what works, expanding what’s possible and ensuring every member feels they belong here.
In the months ahead, we’ll strive to:
- Grow and diversify our membership, welcoming new voices, backgrounds and perspectives that reflect the evolving health care landscape.
- Expand our sponsorship program in thoughtful ways that add value, increase sustainability and support high-quality experiences for members.
- Explore and pursue new collaborations with aligned organizations to broaden our reach, share resources and create fresh learning opportunities.
- Further cultivate the programs you count on to ensure they’re enriching, relevant and empowering.
Hear more about my 2026 vision and key areas of focus at our Jan. 14 Annual Meeting and in-person networking event. And be sure to pay it forward by nominating a member who shaped your career or impacted the health care industry for the TRUST Forum Awards and/or Mentor of the Year Award by Jan. 16.
Thank you for being part of this community. I can’t wait to build the next chapter together!
