Tiffaney Styles, Client Director, Korn Ferry

What is your current role?

I’ve been with Korn Ferry for 1.5 years, and I specifically support the health care industry. We deliver sustainable growth by bringing together business, organization and talent strategies. We work with our clients to nurture the talent they have into the talent they need to support their business strategy and goals.

Why did you join the TRUST & what is your role?

I rejoined the TRUST in September 2023 after a hiatus for a few years. I missed the energy of the group, education and networking. I am an Associate Board member and sit on the Programming Committee.

What has been your favorite part of being a TRUST member?

The people! I love making connections with new people, making connections for people and being surrounded by positive, powerful women.

What one word would you use to summarize what the TRUST means to you?

What is the best career advice you’ve received?

When you try new things, you prepare yourself for your next role. Venture outside your comfort zone. That might look like taking on new and difficult tasks that initially feel uncomfortable, embrace upskilling, which is the process of building more advanced skills for your role, and reskilling, which is learning new skills to pursue a different role. It can also look like pursuing challenging new skills by volunteering for leadership responsibilities and working cross-functionally with different departments at work.

How do you support other women in their leadership journey?

Through building pathways to opportunity and finding ways to engage them.

What do you love the most about the health care industry?

The two things I love the most about health care is the innovation and passionate people.

How do you maintain or improve your health and well-being?

I’m an advocate for lifting weights and getting in 10,000 steps a day while also eating a well-balanced diet (following the 80/20 rule).  I also believe it’s critical to care for your mental, emotional and spiritual through meditation, nature, resting, etc. It’s been a game changer for me when I looked at my health holistically.

Words of wisdom to live by?

“Your comfort zone is not a place that you want to remain in. Dare, discover, be all that you can be.” Catherine Pulsifer
