Jennifer Olson, Secretary

Jennifer M. Olson is a transformational, award-winning health care executive. Recognized for her strategic leadership in driving enterprise health care solutions and her ability to implement the discipline and culture required to position an organization for success.

Jennifer is currently the owner and senior strategic advisor for BlueInnovo Advisors, LLC, an advisory firm focused on pushing the boundaries of success for healthcare organizations. Most recently, Jennifer was the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at Children’s Minnesota, a $1B top pediatric healthcare system. Jennifer is consistently commended for her ability to lead cross-functional teams to solve complex problems while creating a culture of engagement and excellence.

Jennifer brings expertise to all vital areas of health system strategy and operations, including inpatient, ambulatory, diagnostic services, pharmacy, contracting, planning, clinical excellence, business development and marketing/communications. She also has intimate knowledge of and played critical growth roles in providing strategic and operational oversight of Mother Baby /Fetal, Cardiovascular, Hematology/Oncology and Neurosciences service lines.

Jennifer is a national board member for the International Society for Pediatric Innovation (iSPI), a board member for the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST and chair of the Leadership Development Committee. She is a former board member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the March of Dimes Greater Minnesota. She is a member of the current faculty for a Healthcare Certificate program with the University of Wisconsin School of Business and serves on a healthcare advisory committee commissioned by the Dean to design a new professional MBA in Healthcare.

Jennifer’s leadership is recognized in the industry – in 2023, she was recipient of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “Healthcare Hero Award”. In 2018, she was honored as a 2018 (Real) Power 50 award winner by the Minnesota Business magazine, and also a “Top Women in Business” by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

Jennifer earned her MBA with a focus in Management and Health Care and an undergraduate degree in Finance, both from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband Jon and golden retriever Tigger. Her interests include Badger and Packer games, boating on the Mississippi River, downhill skiing and mystery novels.
