Jenni Lohse joined the University of Minnesota as academic health sciences counsel, where she is responsible for the health sciences services and programs at the University, including the MHealth Fairview partnership, the medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, and veterinary colleges. She is responsible for supporting the health care executives and academic deans in executing their strategic business plans.
Jenni has over two decades of health care leadership, including an expansive comprehension of health care operations and government relations, and routinely advised on multi-state and federal regulatory matters, including payor relations and revenue cycle, facility and provider licensing, strategy development, mergers, acquisitions and partnership development, operational implementation, and governance.
She has served on dozens of operational and partnership boards in her roles, and provided executive staffing to the boards directly, as well as committees (including Audit, Compliance, Finance, and Governance).
Prior to joining the University of Minnesota, she was Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and board Secretary for Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, and General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and board Secretary at Center for Diagnostic Imaging / Insight Imaging, and Chief Administrative and Legal Officer and board Secretary at Aware Recovery Care, Inc.
