Dr. Becky Pauly is a dynamic health care leader whose sweet spot is designing, implementing, and scaling unique programs that create value and improve outcomes for patients, families, healthcare providers and clinicians, the community, and the business. She is currently the Executive Director of Program Innovation, Lifelong Learning, and Business Development at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where she is dedicated to advancing the university’s impact through strategic growth initiatives, high-quality professional development and continuing education offerings, and innovative educational programs.
At the onset of her career, Dr. Pauly built a thriving multidisciplinary integrative health practice, and she was recognized with many awards and accolades during her time in private practice before making a pivotal career shift. Driven to create a broader healthcare impact, she transitioned to academic healthcare leadership, launching and expanding integrative health programs within a major academic healthcare system through strategic partnerships, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative programming.
At MHealth Fairview, Dr. Pauly strategically built relationships with decision-makers at a complex, matrixed academic healthcare system to successfully expand both pediatric and adult integrative healthcare services. In addition to her Integrative Healthcare responsibilities, Dr. Pauly oversaw Pediatric Pain and Pediatric Palliative Programs and launched an employee well-being program during the height of the pandemic, serving over 21,000+ employees in the first year and a half of the pandemic.
In 2019, Dr. Pauly graduated from Duke University’s prestigious Integrative Healthcare Leadership Program, further strengthening her expertise in health care strategy, innovation, and collaboration, as well as expanding her already deep network within the industry. A recognized thought leader in integrative health care and a passion for training the next generation of integrative leaders, Dr. Pauly was an integral leader in the design and implementation of the Master of Science in Integrative Healthcare at NWHSU, where she continues to teach as an adjunct faculty. Dr. Pauly has also been consulting for various healthcare-related businesses for many years, supporting process improvement, sharing her Integrative Healthcare expertise, and supporting AI initiatives and companies in that space.
Dr. Pauly’s personal tagline has always been, “I collect great people doing great things. I then bring these people together to support what matters the most to them.” With this as a root of her innate being, she has an expansive network of other professionals she engages to foster partnerships, collaboration, growth, and make things happen.
Dr. Pauly is an active member of Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL), Women Healthcare Leadership TRUST, Women Defining AI, and the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine, as well as others. She has been a member of the TRUST since 2019 and has been a member of the Forum Committee and the Leadership Well-being Retreat Committee for the past several years.
