Bethaney Kaye

Bethaney Kaye, DNP, MBA, is currently the Senior Director, Medical Affairs at Make‑A‑Wish America, where she provides strategic and clinical leadership to ensure the medical integrity of the organization’s mission. In this role, Bethaney partners closely with healthcare teams across the country, leads a national medical advisory council and an internal medical affairs team, and advances eligibility standards, strengthens clinical partnerships, ensures travel safety on wishes, and elevates the role of medicine across the organization.

Drawing on her background as a pediatric nurse practitioner, Bethaney brings a deep understanding of complex pediatric care to her work. Her MBA complements this clinical expertise, enabling her to translate medical insight into scalable strategy, guide cross‑functional decision‑making, and align clinical priorities with organizational growth, innovation, and operational sustainability. Bethaney is also the creator of Safe6, a geo‑location app designed to help individuals with cystic fibrosis reduce the risk of cross‑infection—an innovation that reflects her commitment to patient safety, autonomy, and health equity.

She has been an active member of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST since 2024, became an Associate Board Member in 2025, and was recognized with the TRUST Innovation Award in 2025 for her leadership and impact in innovation. Bethaney is passionate about bridging clinical expertise, business strategy, and mission‑driven innovation to improve outcomes for children and families facing critical illness.
