I am forever grateful to RGP for the opportunity to live and collaborate globally with amazing clients and colleagues.

Why did you join the TRUST?

Per a client suggestion, I joined the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST in 2017 to be a part of this amazing network of talented women working in various areas across the health care and life sciences industry.

What has been your favorite part of being a TRUST member?

I have truly enjoyed learning from incredibly talented people who, every day, make a positive difference and improve the health and lives of others.

What one word would you use to summarize what the TRUST means to you?

Powerful.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?

How do you support other women in their leadership journey?

My passion lies in helping women thrive in their professional development through supporting and building their network and connecting them to resources to assist them in their leadership journey.

What do you love the most about the health care industry?

Promoting wellness and advancing health equity are significant focus areas for me. There are few professions that allow the opportunity to touch and impact countless lives, making a lifelong difference for others in a multifaceted manner the way you can in health care.

Who inspires you?

There are many incredible women who have inspired me in different ways–Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Michelle Obama, Mother Teresa, Serena Williams, Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg, Amy Klobuchar, as well as members of the TRUST, too! However, my mother has been my most ardent supporter, role model and inspiration. Her strength of character, diligence, and selfless spirit to give back to her community are consistently astonishing. As a single mother, she raised three multiracial kids in small-town, western Minnesota on a teacher’s salary. She instilled within us the power and necessity of independence, hard work, financial literacy and the wisdom of extracting value from every life circumstance – good and bad – while treating others the way one desires to be treated. All of these attributes have tremendously influenced my life.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

I love to travel everywhere and enjoy meeting new people and taking in local activities, music and culinary delights!

Words of wisdom to live by?

Be authentic, confident, focused, and true to who you are.
