What’s your current role?

I am a member of the senior executive team serving the St. Cloud and Monticello markets. I am a nurse by background and have been at CentraCare for 27 years.

When and why did you join the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST?

I joined the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST three years ago when a colleague of mine retired. I assumed her role on the TRUST Board of Directors. I also serve on the TRUST’s Programming Committee.

Do you have a favorite TRUST memory so far?

I really appreciate the annual Forum event – it is so inspiring!

What is the best career advice you’ve received?

Go out on a limb, trust yourself.

How do you support other women in their leadership journeys?

I try to provide opportunities for women and new leaders at work and in the community. It is important to be involved. There is so much we can learn when we step out of our comfort zone.

How do you cope with demanding aspects of your career? I remind myself that just like everyone else, I don’t have super-powers. I take the time I need to rest and rejuvenate myself.
