By Joy King, 2025 President, Women’s Health Leadership TRUST
Can you believe that 2025 is nearing the end? It feels just like yesterday that I started the year as TRUST President. I am so very thankful for a year that has reflected the TRUST’s strength. This community has always thrived on connection — on showing up for one another, lifting each other higher and boldly pushing our field forward with courage and conviction. This year was no exception.
Across our events, programs and conversations, we saw what happens when women leaders unite with intention. We saw peers become collaborators, mentors become catalysts and new members quickly become part of a shared mission. Our community’s impact is built on these relationships and on the spirit of service that has guided the TRUST for more than four decades.
Gratitude for Members Who Make It All Possible
I want to extend heartfelt appreciation to every member who contributed to the TRUST’s momentum this year. Thank you to those who joined us for the first time and those who have been with us for years. Your leadership strengthens this network and helps shape the future of women’s leadership in health care. Our founders understood the power of women coming together with purpose — a legacy that continues to inspire us today.
Celebrating Our Leaders, Volunteers and Partners
To our Board, Associate Board and committee volunteers: your dedication is the backbone of the TRUST. You pour your time, talent and heart into building events and opportunities that support the growth of women across health care. Your work advances our mission in both visible and behind-the-scenes ways, and we are deeply grateful.
We also extend sincere thanks to our generous sponsors and partners. Their support allows us to deliver the high-quality experiences — from networking events to professional development programs — that our members value so deeply. And to the incredible speakers and facilitators who shared their wisdom with us this year, thank you for challenging us to grow, innovate and lead courageously.
Charting the Path Forward
As we look ahead, I see an enduring truth from past reflections: nurturing our connections directly amplifies our collective impact. Strong networks built on trust remain essential to shaping the future of our industry and our own leadership journeys.
I am excited for Holly Scholl to take the lead for the TRUST in 2026. With Holly at the helm, I know the year ahead will continue to offer new opportunities to learn, collaborate and re-imagine what’s possible.
Thank you for everything you contributed this year. Here’s to stepping into a new year with courage and a shared commitment to elevating women in health care!
