As I reflect on our 2026 TRUST Annual Forum, I am filled with gratitude for the energy, generosity and commitment that made our signature event such a success. The Forum is designed to inspire and connect women leaders across health care, and this year’s gathering did exactly that through meaningful networking, award recognition and an unforgettable keynote from Minnesota’s own Jessie Diggins.
Jessie’s message of grit, resilience, teamwork and showing up fully resonated deeply with our community. Her story reminded us that great accomplishments are never achieved alone. They are built through support systems, shared purpose and people who step forward when it matters.
That same spirit was alive throughout the TRUST Forum.
With the Forum occurring during National Volunteer Month, it feels especially meaningful to recognize the many volunteers who gave their time, talent and heart to bring this event to life. To our Forum co-chairs, Caitlin Campbell and Corrie Ellefson: thank you for your leadership, vision and countless hours of planning. Your work created an experience that celebrated the best of who we are as a community.
To our Forum Committee, ambassadors, award judges and behind-the-scenes volunteers: thank you. From welcoming guests and guiding connections to shaping the program and ensuring every detail came together, your contributions made the evening feel seamless, joyful and purposeful.
We were honored to celebrate this year’s award recipients, including leaders recognized for mentorship, innovation, collaboration, community engagement, leadership and lasting contributions to health care. Their stories are a powerful reminder of the impact women are making across our health care ecosystem every day.
Thank you also to our Forum and annual TRUST sponsors whose support helped make the evening possible and powers the TRUST’s mission year-round. Your investment helps us create spaces where women leaders can connect, grow and lead boldly.
Most of all, thank you to every member, attendee and supporter who joined us. The TRUST is more than an organization; it is a community of more than 400 women leaders sharing insight, expertise and support across health care.
The success of the Forum belongs to all of you!
And if you’ve ever questioned what makes your work meaningful, consider joining us Thursday May 21 for an interactive session led by Dr. Christopher Wong Michaelson to explore this timely question, especially amid pressures to balance excellent care with financial performance. You’ll engage in peer conversations, reflection prompts and activities inspired by the University of St. Thomas course “Work and the Good Life.” We’re excited to bring you this event, which is sponsored by the University of St. Thomas, and open to TRUST and Healthcare Leaders Association Minnesota members.
