By Joy King, 2025 TRUST President
As I step into the role of President of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST for 2025, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement for the year ahead. The TRUST is entering its 46th year as a cornerstone for connecting and empowering women leaders in health care, and I am deeply honored to help guide the organization’s next chapter.
First, I want to extend heartfelt thanks to our outgoing Board members, Rhoda Beaird, Rachel Metz, Lisa and Richards Diebel, as well as outgoing Associate Board members, Andrea Berg, Ann Duginske Cibulka, Lisa Estevez, Kristin Naruko, Lindsey Niswanger, Briana Nord Parish and Laura Weiglein. Your dedication and insights have shaped the TRUST into the supportive community it is today. Whether you served on committees, launched initiatives or shared your wisdom with members, your contributions left an enduring mark. Thank you for your service and leadership.
I would also like to welcome our incoming Board members, Molly Clark, Emily Fry, Jessica Hendrickson and Libby Hornibrook, and incoming Associate Board members, Anne Gass, Susan Huff, Kate Shaughnessy and Christy Waltz. Your passion and fresh perspectives will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen the TRUST. Together, we will build on the remarkable foundation laid by the TRUST founders and those before us, working to elevate the voices of women leaders in health care and ensure the TRUST remains an inspiring source for connections and professional growth.
Of course, the work of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST would not be possible without our dedicated Committee Chairs and their teams. Your commitment to organizing impactful programming, fostering meaningful member engagement and ensuring the operational success of our organization is nothing short of extraordinary. Thank you for stepping up and leaning in to support our mission. Our 2025 Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs are: Finance – Libby Hornibrook; Forum – Caitlin Campbell, Adriene Thornton, Corrie Ellefson; IDEA – Pat Milligan; Leadership Development – Lisa Spann, Nicole Miller; Programming – Holly Scholl, Lindsay Dittberner; Membership & Marketing – Mary Jacobs, Sonja O’Brien; Sponsorship – Jennifer Olson.
For 2025, my focus is on growth and member retention. Growth, not just in numbers, but in the depth of our connections and the value we provide to our members. Retention, because the strength of the TRUST lies in the relationships we nurture and the continuous support we offer one another.
We will continue to prioritize opportunities for mentorship, professional development and authentic connections. We’ll also explore ways to showcase the amazing talents of our members and amplify the voices of women leaders throughout our industry.
I look forward to our journey together and I invite you to connect with me and share your ideas for the TRUST. Here’s to an exciting year ahead—thank you for being part of this incredible organization!
