Embracing a Year of Promise

By Lisa Saul, MD, TRUST President

As the newly appointed 2024 President of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST, I step into a role rich with history and vibrant with potential. I am grateful to Kim Perry for her mentorship this past year and for setting the foundation for the year ahead.

I am deeply honored to lead the TRUST this year. It’s a responsibility I accept with a heart full of gratitude for all the trailblazing women leaders who have paved the way in this esteemed organization. Their vision and resilience have built a strong foundation, and I will continue to honor the past while also moving the TRUST forward as the health care industry evolves.

The start of a new year brings a refreshing wave of possibilities while honoring treasured traditions. In 2023, your Board and Associate Board worked collectively to make the TRUST work for you. We increased the number of in-person networking events, participated in community service activities, tested cohorts designed to bring together people with similar interests and made wellness a priority. Your feedback was invaluable in our ability to continue to host events that matter to you.

My vision for the TRUST expands on our principles of empowerment, connection and growth.

As we journey together through 2024, I invite you to connect with me via the TRUST member directory or LinkedIn. I would love to hear your feedback and insights as we collectively contribute to the ongoing development of the TRUST. And I encourage you to reach out to fellow TRUST members, engage in conversations and empower one another. Let’s keep talking!

I promise to lead the TRUST with passion and purpose. We are embarking on an exciting journey, and together, we can navigate the challenges and celebrate the successes that await us in this new chapter of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST.
