TRUST Membership Brings Superb Value

By Kim Perry, TRUST President

Women’s leadership organizations like the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST have become increasingly popular as more and more women seek to break down barriers to support the collective journey to rise to leadership positions in various industries. I love hearing from TRUST members who are excited about our supportive community for women to connect, collaborate and develop their leadership skills. Membership in the TRUST can bring tremendous value to one’s personal and professional life, and here’s why.

Networking Opportunities

Each year I hear numerous stories from women who joined the TRUST in a concerted effort to grow their connections and careers. Women who were new to the industry, in-between jobs, new to Minnesota or the Midwest, rising leaders seeking to broaden their horizons, and the list goes on. With a broad range of events and a stellar mentorship program, we offer a number of chances for like-minded women to create valuable connections. Meeting other women in leadership positions helps members expand their professional networks, gain new insights and often find new job opportunities. And our new members love our dedicated coffees and happy hours to meet others new to the TRUST!

Leadership Development

I may be biased, but I’m proud of our professional development programs! These events cover a wide range of topics, from building financial acumen or conflict management skills to Pinnacle Leader dinners with health care leaders such as Jan Malcolm. This year we started what we thought would be a small working moms’ series, which has quickly been selling out! Members have exceptional opportunities to learn new skills and hear from successful women sharing their stories of success.

Access to Resources

We encourage you to continue learning and are proud to offer additional resources for all career stages. These resources include:

By tapping into these resources, you can gain a competitive advantage in your career.

Empowerment

The TRUST is here to help provide a platform for women’s voices and recognize women leaders making a positive impact on the world. This is one of the reasons our annual TRUST Forum is such as success as we celebrate award recipients who make a difference in our communities! And this year, we created a lower cost TRUST Sponsored membership for those experiencing job transition or economic hardship or are graduate students, so more women had the opportunity to join the TRUST.

Navigating a career can be challenging, and we’re here to support you. Membership in the TRUST can bring immense value – from networking to leadership development and resources to empowerment. If you’re a woman looking to grow your career and build meaningful relationships, consider joining the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST today. And if you’re already a member, please take advantage of all the opportunities available!
