By Kim Perry, TRUST President
Life happens. It is a journey full of personal and professional ups and downs. And sometimes, we need additional support along the way.
As a professional group, it’s important to constantly think about how best to serve our members at all stages of their careers and lives. One way to do this is by offering a new membership option to assist members during moments of great impact.
Starting February 2023, we’ll offer the TRUST Sponsored Membership to financially help our members who are graduate students or are experiencing job transition or economic hardship. The TRUST Sponsored Membership fee for one year is $110, which covers most TRUST events. Through this new membership category, we can ensure our members can continue to be a part of the robust TRUST community and access our resources, even during tough times.
This new membership option is a direct result of listening to the concerns of our members. Women often bear the brunt of significant changes while taking on more personal responsibilities, such as raising children, running the household or taking care of aging parents. The impact on women was especially apparent during the pandemic.
The Women’s Health Leadership TRUST supports our members’ personal and professional growth. The TRUST Sponsored Membership option allows more women to become part of our community and benefit from enhanced connections in the health care industry.
Life can be unpredictable, and you may need resources during difficult times. We strive to be part of the solution, whether you’re a rising professional or an experienced leader. The TRUST is here for you with the Sponsored Membership option, networking opportunities and educational programs.
Please share this exciting new membership alternative with women in your network who could benefit. The TRUST is an invaluable asset, and we’re proud to help women stay competitive, network with others in health care and advance their careers.
