Offering Insights & Enhancing Potential

By Allison O’Connor, TRUST President

We believe in enhancing the potential of our members by providing meaningful relationships, content-rich resources and programs to support women on their career journeys.” That sentence is on the website home page for the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST. It encapsulates the networking, education, and professional and personal development women leaders in health care can find within the TRUST.

We have three significant endeavors coming up that are the perfect mix of the TRUST as we offer insights and inspiration for learning to create new possibilities for all women – in health care, well-being and beyond.

  1. Forum: Our signature Forum event is back in person on October 12 and is smaller by design to allow for more personal connections. Forum keynote Elizabeth Bishop will lead attendees to explore the value of personal and professional integration, the power of intentionality, and how we can develop our capacity to become more self-responsive even as we contribute to the world. Join us as we celebrate our theme of Leading the Way: Your Path, Our Journey and recognize 20 TRUST Award recipients advancing efforts to help transform the health care industry. 2. Mentorship Program: Participants of our Mentorship Program continue to give it a resounding thumbs up! Mentees frequently share how much their confidence increased while mentors gain additional insights helping mentees navigate various challenges. I highly encourage you to sign up if you’ve ever thought of participating! Applications for 2023 are now open through September 30. The Mentorship Program is free for mentors and an excellent investment for mentees for a nominal fee of $300. You’ll be hard-pressed to find greater value elsewhere! Learn more.
  3. Well-being Retreat: We are so thankful to meet in person again for our 2nd annual TRUST Well-being Retreat on November 3-4 at the Hotel Landing in Wayzata. Attendees will learn, unwind and connect with fellow women leaders. The Retreat is a great time to learn more about your path through mindfulness, movement and resilience. Only a few spots remain, so register today!

Our legacy of strong programming dates back to the TRUST’s founding in 1979. We continually hear that members join for the networking and stay for the programming. That’s why we strive to make our opportunities about learning and connections, so members can enjoy both and receive significant value. I hope you will take part in one of our upcoming events!
