
Jennifer has served as the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital president since November 2018. She also has responsibility for post-acute care services across HealthPartners. Jennifer is passionate about providing the safest possible, highest quality care for patients through fostering a culture of high reliability where speaking up, process improvement and resilient people and systems thrive.
Jennifer started her career as an administrator at Mayo Clinic Rochester after earning her Master’s degrees in Health Care Administration (MHA) and Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota. She remains active in the MHA program serving as a mentor, internship preceptor and curriculum advisor. Jennifer serves on the patient safety committee of the Minnesota Hospital Association. She is an American Hospital Association Healthcare Transformation Fellow. Jennifer is active in her local community participating in Rotary and Chamber clubs. She serves on the board of the American Red Cross volunteers both locally and internationally.
She served as the president of Allina Health Buffalo Hospital from 2009 to November 2018. From 2002 to 2009, Jennifer was at Park Nicollet Health Services, where she was senior vice president of Specialty and Diagnostic Services. While at Park Nicollet, she led the development of two comprehensive, multi-disciplinary specialty centers, the Heart and Vascular Center and the Cancer Center.
She lives in Excelsior and has three children, Katey, Cormick and Camille. Jennifer and her kids are very active in Special Olympics where Jennifer serves as a unified athlete, coach and biggest fan for Camille and her teammates. Jennifer stays active in her free time biking, running, skiing and hiking with the dogs.
