She began her career with General Mills\, Inc. (GMI). Over a 20-year period she worked her way up from a summer intern through a variety of positions of increasing responsibility throughout the company. In her last two GMI positions\, Suzanne served as the director of the General Mills Foundation and as the executive director of Ethnic Community Relations. She worked with Global Novations\, a global diversity\, equity and inclusion firm located in Boston\, MA/Atlanta\, GA\, where she held various senior executive positions for more than 15 years. We are excited for him to share his story and talk about identifying and engaging male allies in the workplace. \nAbout our speaker:\n \nAnton Vincent serves as President\, Mars Wrigley North America.   Since joining Mars in 2019\, Anton has successfully led the acceleration of value creation of one of the world’s largest\, most iconic consumer brand portfolios. He leads the cross-segment Regional Presidents Council (RPC) and is the principal Mars leadership voice for industry and regulatory matters in the US. \n  \nPrior to joining Mars\, Anton was the CEO of Greencore\, PLC\, USA\, a leading co-pack and co-man company. He spent 20 years at General Mills building award winning brands and leading three divisions to record financial performance\, helped execute the $10B acquisition of the Pillsbury Company and served on the board of 301 Inc.\, General Mills’ early-stage venture fund. DESCRIPTION:The month of May is Asian Pacific Islander month – in honor of that we are inviting Bo Thao-Urabe\, immediate past-executive director of Coalition of Asian American Leaders (CAAL) to share her story – journey\, success\, lessons learned \nAbout our speaker:\n\nBo Thao-Urabe\nSenior Consultant \nBo Thao-Urabe is a practice-based possibilian with over 25 years of impactfully building community-centered\, asset-based solutions to transform practices to ensure meaningful change occurs for those most impacted by systemic inequities. She recently transitioned as the founding executive and network director of the Coalition of Asian American Leaders (CAAL) after nearly a decade of building a successful organization. She continues providing her expertise to build up social justice efforts locally and nationally\, and is a Senior Consultant for the AAPI Civic Engagement Fund and the Common Counsel Foundation. \nBo’s lived experiences at the intersections of war\, poverty\, immigration\, gender\, culture and race have continuously shaped how she connects the dots to reimagine and create solutions. She has built and led local\, national\, and global efforts. In addition to founding CAAL\, Bo co-created Hmong Women Achieving Together\, RedGreen Rivers\, BMPP Giving Circle\, MaivPAC\, Building Our Future: A Community Campaign\, the Anti-Racism and Intersectional Justice Fund and the Asian Pacific Islander Institute on Gender-Based Violence. She currently serves on the Boards of The Minneapolis Foundation\, Drake Bank\, Propel Nonprofits and is a Regent at the University of Minnesota. Her leadership and impact have been widely recognized.
